President Biden announced on 31st August that Ameriacan-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin is dead. Hamas terrorists hostaged Hersh with five others hostage on 7th Oct 2023.
Also the family of American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin confirmed about the news. Few hours back of the event Israel Defence Forces went into Hamas terrorist camps and territories, but before IDF’s reaching, IDF found ‘unidentified bodies of 6 people’.
On 7th October 2023 Hersh Goldberg-Polin was hostaged by Hamas during a fantastic Re’im Music Festival. Recently, 10 months later, his mother and fathers seen addressing a conference with eyes full of tears for all the hostaged individuals along with their son Hersh Goldberg- Polin.
Hersh was a 23-years young man, who had served in the Israel Defence Force, a mandatory service in April 2023. Goldberg- Polin family moved to Israel in 2008 when Hersh was 7 years old with his two sisters.

7th October
As already said, Hersh completed his mandatory service in Israel Defence Force (IDF) in April 2023. On 7th October he was enjoying in the Re’im Music festival on in Eshkol Regional Council, Israel.
As it was a war time, Hamas group members attacked at the event and hostaged 6 or more people from the event. This was the time when Hersh messaged family ‘I love you’ and later messaged ‘I am sorry’ as reports said.

In a video, Hersh Goldberg-Polin’s left hand was seen blowing away when Hamas militants thrown granades. But later in the event, militants seen carrying Hersh on back and taking hostages in a pickup truck.
This video reached family of Hersh Goldberg-Polin’s family. And that sparked a traumatic events after it.
Jon Polin and Rachel Goldberg’s struggle for Son
In December 2023, Hersh’s mom and dad immediately appealed to US government for release of their son, as soon as possible. US goverment and Jon and Rachel – mom-dad of Hersh Goldberg-Polin – requested Israeli government and forces to releas their son and other hostages. Many ‘high profile’ ways were used to bring back Hersh.
Recently a video (above) showed mom and dad of hostages (and now dead) Hersh Goldberg-Polin addressing and spreading awareness in world about what has happened to their son. But the hope, that their son will come back home one day, is no more.
10 months later, 31st August 2024
On this day, Israel Defence Forces (IDF) reported about six ‘found bodies’. But it was disclosed earlier that Hersh is also one out of those six ‘found bodies’.
Initially news about Hersh Goldberg-Polin was not clearly revealed. But later Goldberg-Poli Family announced and confirmed Hersh Goldberg-Polin is dead. President Biden clarified to national through an address above the Hersh’s killing.

What is happening in Israel after this even ?
We know that Jon Polin and Rachel Goldberg are peacefully fighting for their son’s and other hostaged national’s release. Isreal streets were full of protesters on 30th and 31st August, aggrasively requesting Israel President Benjamin Netanyahu to get back home Hersh Goldberg Polin as soon as possible.
Though Israel Defence forces entered into Hamas militant’s territory, before before the IDF’s reach, all six hostages were killed. This spread havok in the streets of Israel.
Conclusion
World is unaware of when the war beteen Israel and Palestine will be over. But we can conclude that many innocents have lost their lives.
